Texas observes Daylight Saving Time

Clocks go forward an hour on the second Sunday in March and back on the first Sunday in November, so Texas is on Central Daylight Time in summer and Central Standard Time in winter.

Texas is almost entirely Central Time. El Paso and Hudspeth counties, in the far west, keep Mountain Time.

When the clocks change — the next date, and every one to 2031.
