Scheduling between the two
There is no overlap between a nine-to-six working day in São Paulo and one in Sydney — the gap is too wide. A call has to sit early or late for one side. Early morning in São Paulo is the usual compromise, since that is late afternoon or evening in Sydney.
Brasília Time (BRT) is used in Rio de Janeiro and Brasília. Brazil ended daylight saving in 2019.
Australian Eastern Time (AEST) is used in Melbourne, Canberra and Brisbane. Queensland stays on AEST all year while the southern states move to AEDT.
